Breastplates

I have been doing and making things lately, but I haven't really felt like writing about any of it. Unlike other bloggers, I make no excuses and offer no apologies!

I'm back at college after the Easter break and making breastplate-like forms from paper, pelmet vilene and heat transfer paper.





I had some leftover bits of vilene that had been coloured black from the heat transfer paper. It seemed a shame to just throw them away so I turned them into these shoulder pieces. The sections are held together with split pins, which nicely mimic the rivets used in real plate armour.
